You know the power of a clean desk at the end of the work day, or a clean kitchen after a meal, or a shower after a work-out because these are common experiences. What you might not think about is your energy field in terms of cleaning it up at the end of the day.

Going through your day, you will be around and share energy fields with different people in different environments. Just like a glass door that people touch to open and smudge it (getting greasier with every touch), your energy field picks up on different energies that cover yours up. As that happens throughout the day, by the end of the day, you’re tired, don’t feel fresh, and maybe aren’t even sure of what you’re feeling. One way to take care of your energy field is to do a systematic cleansing and release of the energies you picked up during the day.

These energies can include limitations or projections from other people, emotional residue from processing relationships, frustrations with family (parents and children), blocked creativity, diminished progress on projects, lessons learned from teachers, anxiety around money, and anything else that could reduce your peace of mind from the day. Those residual energies need to be released rather than being buried in your unconscious, which will affect everything you do tomorrow and the day after that. The intention is that you get the results you want because you’re at peak performance through positive energy.

You need to replenish your energy clearly with quality sleep, and if this ‘gunk’ is in your energy field, it makes it a lot harder to get the rest you need. And that is the key to you being your best for yourself and everyone around you tomorrow. Even more, if you systematically clean your energy at night, you wake up refreshed, so you not only greet the day with enthusiasm, but you will find your energy more consistent during the day. You won’t get as triggered by things that might ‘normally’ bother you, your creative energy is available when you want it, and you have more energy at the end of the day than you would likely expect.
